Eastern Road Carriers Pvt. Ltd. (ERC) success story started four decade ago led by a team of young professionals and lies in its implementation of modern management techniques and building up an organization on strong pillars – integrity, massive infrastructure, operational capacity, financial soundness and above all will to move ahead confidently.
ERC has come a long way, enhancing its strength and expanding its horizons. We have more than 45 branches, equipped with modern equipment, with trained staff to handle any material and we expertise in handling of bulk heavy and odd dimensional cargo and containers movement.
Eastern Road Carriers Pvt ltd is a reflection of the dreams and perseverance of our founder chairman Mr. RAM AVTAR MITTAL. A native of Bhiwani (in Haryana), Ram Avtarji came to Kolkata armed with an initial capital of fifteen rupees and a graduate’s degree from Punjab University in the year 1965. For nine years he worked for a leading transport company and honed his skills for his cherished dream.

ERC has been associated with a lot of projects and has been in the forefront of development with most of renowned industrial groups in terms of setting their projects. With a cohesive force of highly trained and operationally experienced professionals, ERC has the knowledge and experience to handle goods of any unconventional nature, time sensitive transportation and items that need special care and attention.
